The Finish Is Just The Beginning.
Better From The Beginning.
We set up the machine to do a raster roughing process, then a fine 3mm raster finishing process. This meant we were able to machine our car with smaller ridges, so we did not have to sand the car as much. The result was a car closer to the 3D model.
Carefully Sanded.
Our cars were sanded with sandpaper of increasing grit, from 120 to 400. This made the surface extremely smooth, giving it better aerodynamics and a better finish.
Quality Finish.
A layer of paint was then sprayed over our car to make it shinier and more aerodynamic. It also matches up with our marketing and our overall image as a team, and our theme colours. This makes our branding more consistent.
