Directing Airflow.
Not only does the wall on our side pods help the car to comply with some regulations, they also direct the airflow around the car. They prevents the air entering the turbulent airflow behind the front wheels, reducing drag.
Virtually Drag Free.
Seeing how much of an impact the shallow channel in our regionals car made to our aerodynamics, we decided to enlargen it for our states car. This allowed the profile of the car to be basically nonexistant, preventing as many turbulances from forming as possible.
Efficient Rear Pods
Our rear pods produce very little turbulence compared to all of our previous designs. Its shallow slope allows the merging of two separate airstreams without producing much drag. The flat top surface of the rear pod reduces turbulence produced from the top of the rear pod.
